The R&D+i Department of Picharchitects, in collaboration with Cemex Global R&D, has developed a façade panel that uses the advantages of the high-performance and porous concrete to improve the user comfort in the Wellness Hub project in Monterrey, Mexico, designed by Picharchitects. The design is based on a proposal developed by the students of the Climate Concrete 1.0 workshop at UIC Barcelona School of Architecture.
After a long period of design optimization and testing, these panels are currently being produced by Kinetica, a production company with experience in custom made solutions in Mexico. We love the result!
